Dear Student,

As you know that there are four semesters in this course.

Here I am giving one by one syllabus for each semesters.

  1. Semester 1: General Sociology, Classical Sociological Theory, Indian Society and Culture, Rural Sociology.
  2. Semester 2: Industrial Sociology, Perspectives or Indian society, Sociology of Rural Development, Qualitative and Quantitave Research.
  3. Semester 3: Advance Social Theory Trends , Sociological Concepts and key ideas, Gender and society, social change and development, Social Psychology, Social Anthropology, Urban Sociology, Sociology and Religion, Political Sociology.
  4. Semester 4: Environmental and Society, Sociology and Education, Social Movements in India, Criminology, Social Problems, Computer applications on social research, Sociology of health, Sociology in mass communication, Sociology of organization and human resources.

There are also optional and compulsory papers in both 3rd and 4th semester.
