In most of the colleges the first year is common course and from the 2nd year what she will be reading subjects like data structures, algorithms ,operating systems ,compilers and labon compilers mathematics probability and that  subjects which are electives

The subjects depends on the University which an engineering institution belong to. Generally the subjects are common for all the branches during the 1st year of engineering. The corse branch papers are taught from 2nd year of engineering.
