To become a professional photographer in India, you can get a degree in Photography (Bachelors or Masters) along with some diploma courses, the duration of which may vary between 3 months to 1 year. It is not necessary to have a proper 3-year degree in Photography as it might narrow your career options. Going forward with professional or a research based 3-year degree course is recommended.
