NITs such as NIT Nagpur, NIT Raipur, NIT Bhopal, NIT Rourkela, and others are less likely to accept you based on your rank.

But don't panic; certain lower-ranked NITs, such as NIT Hamirpur and NIT Uttarakhand, as well as some NITs from the north-east, are available.
