Hey aspirant,

As due to the COVID-19 outbreak, most of the universities have given admission to the new batches late, it is expected that the semester time will be extended.

Reducing the syllabus, is very unlikely to be an option as it reduces efficiency of your course and may be problematic for your future endeavours. You need to talk to the admission cell of your college to get a detailed information regarding this matter.

Most universities have extended the duration for the new batches so that is more likely to happen.

Hope this helps,

All the best!
