Hello,
I hope you are doing good,
Before studying gravitation do study
Kinematics (Rectilinear, Projectile, Relative Motion)
Basic Mechanics (Newton's Laws, Work Power Energy)
Center of Mass
Moment of Inertia
Conservation of Linear and Angular Momentum.
Electrostatics most importantly
On covering Electrostatics, Gravitation can be easily studied with analogy.
THANK YOU!!!
You should have a basic idea about gravity and Gravitational force as other topics in the chapter are introduced for the very first time and you won't be having any knowledge about it.
Few important topics from Gravitation chapter in standard XI are Kepler's law of planetary motion, change in value of 'g' with height, depth and other factors, also satellites, escape velocity etc.
If you wish to know the prerequisites for this chapter then you need to have a clear concept about Mechanics, Newton's laws of motion, equation of motion and also idea about Work, potential and Energy concept.
I hope you find the answer helpful
Thank you.
