JEE Main is a largest engineering exam it will be held on 2nd April (offline mode) and 8th and 9th April (online mode).
The entrance examination of JEE Main is the first stage for admissions into the prestigious Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and is also a gateway for all of the NITs, IIITs and GFTIs
Application Form of JEE Advanced 2017 will be available from April 28. Advanced 2017 is the second stage of JEE. For 2017, 2, 20,000 top rankers from JEE Main will be eligible to take JEE Advanced .
Top B.Tech branches are as follows-
1- CSE
2- Civil Engineering
3- Chemical Engineering
4- Mechnaical Engineering
5- Electrical Engineering
6- Aerospace Engineering
7- Metallurgical and Materials Engineering
8--ECE

so top 2000 students are selected so there are reservations for sc and st so how are they selected?
