Admission to BSc Physics Hons in Delhi University is based on the merit of the qualifying examination only, the eligibility criteria for  is passed 10+2 from a recognized board with 60% marks in physics, chemistry, and mathematics, and securing 50% marks in English, the entrance test is only conducted for the following undergraduate courses-

• Bachelor of Arts Honours in Business Economics
• Bachelor of Management Studies
• Bachelor of Business Administration in Financial Investment Analysis
• Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology and Mathematical Innovations
• Five Year Integrated Programme in Journalism
• Bachelor of Elementary Education
• Bachelor of Science in Physical Education, Health Education & Sports
• Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in the following subjects-
• Humanities and Social Sciences
• Multimedia and Mass Communication
• Hindustani Music- Vocal/Instrumental (Sitar/Sarod/Guitar/Violin/Santoor)
• Carnatic Music- Vocal/Instrumental (Veena/ Violin)
• Percussion Music (Tabla/Pakhawaj)
