Information Technology deals with the use of electronic computers and computer software to store, protect process, transmit and securely retrieve data. IT professionals perform a variety of tasks that range from installing applications to designing complex computer networks and information databases.

So artificial intelligence is not that related to IT course. But you can do some other courses by yourself to improve your knowledge about artificial intelligence.


I would suggest you to go for B.tech CSE with specialization in Artificial intelligence and machine learning. These course is offered by universities like Sharda University, galgotias University, UPES University, DIT University, VIT University etc.

These courses will be more focused on artificial intelligence and will make you do practical approaches towards them.

So think before you take any course.

The major difference between both these field is that IT deals with the application of computing technology to real life processes, while, Computer Science deals with the science that facilitates these applications. To make it short and simple, Computer Science is the creation of software and hardware by using different programming skills. On the other hand, IT is just the selection of the proper software or hardware for the task.

Thanks for asking your query,such course can be done if the university under which the college falls allows because such course are done in very few engineering college of India therefore I would suggest you to check thoroughly the admission brochure before taking admission in such college
