The two immediate options available if you want to pursue higher degree immediately after your graduation are MTech and MBA.
However, it is always better to go for a 1 or 2 year work ex before you go for a PG as it gives you a break from continuous studies and also a chance to assess where your interest lies and what exactly would you want to pursue.
Also if you qualify GATE you need not only pursue a MTech. Around 50 PSUs which include BHEL, GAIL, NHPC, BSNL and DMRC and so on hire graduate engineers through GATE.
Please go thorough PSU Recruitment through GATE for complete details.
The other available option would be to pursue an MTech or MBA form the Indian Maritime University, if you have a penchant for an adventurous career. The specialisations offered range from Port and Shipping Managment to Marine Technology and Management. Admission is based on a Common Entrance test. Please check Brochure 2018 for more details.
You may also appear for the Air Force Common Admission Test or the AFCAT. You can apply for all the three branches of the IAF which are Flying Branch, Technical Branch and Ground Duty Branches. Please go through Air Force Career page for full details. http://careerairforce.nic.in/

Basically everything depends on your interest and in which field you are good at. So there are two options mba and mtech. If you think you want to go for finance and marketing then go for mba or if you are good at your current field then presue the same for the higher degree.Hope you are satisfied with the answer. Thank you.
