Charted Accountancy is hard core accounting which leads to the following:

• Working/heading a finance department

• Working as an auditor

• Working as a consultant

• Become  a Company Secretary by writing the CS Exam

An MBA program is preparing you to manage a business at a mid to senior level in a company as a start.  There are various specializations in an MBA program ranging from Marketing, Finance, Operations, Logistics & HR.

From a planning perspective:

• MBA needs 10+2+3 to join then another 2 years of MBA = 17yr

• CA needs 10+2+3 to join then another 3 years of CA = 18yr

• CPT method of CA = 10+2+4.5 = 16.5yr

• After CA you do MBA then it will 20 years of study

• Distance learning for MBA while doing CA, save 2 years.
