Diploma is purely Certification based course and is not considered as degree course.

Since, Msc is post graduate course, candidates need Minimum a graduate degree with 50% aggregate marks as Minimum.

You are advised to first complete your graduation with either Bsc or Btech, and only then go For Postgraduate studies into Mtech or Msc.

For graduation in btech, your required to apply through lateral route on basis of your aggregate diploma scores and then you can be admitted into Second year of Engineering directly provided you meet Cutoffs.

After graduation, you can choose any field of your choice which interests you and where your aptitude lies.
