NIT JAMSHEDPUR is an institution of national importance which good faculty,infrastructure and fair to do placements(nearly 88%). It is overall a good college for girls too because it contains supernumeric girls reservation in its seats.

Highest package of 39 LPA Offered by Microsoft in 2019

Around 98% students got placed in Metallurgy department followed by 92% in CSE Department

In ME Branch the overall placement was around 90% with highest package of 13 LPA and average around 6.62 LPA

Average package is around 6 LPA Across all streams.

Companies like TATA Steel,TATA Motors, Reliance,Godrej ,Samsung,TCS, Microsoft,Amazon etc came to recruit.

Note:- Placements depends on several factors including academics,co cirricular activities etc. Gender is not a question here. In 2018  a Girl from NIT-JSR achieved a package of 26 LPA in Amazon.
