Hello Amar,
when you have filled the the form of jee mains and also in Jee advanced you will be given a list if centeres from which you can choose from.
Like if you choose delhi then you will get any of the test centre from delhi,
but you have to choose 4 places where you can give your paper.
You will get your option 2 if option 1 is full.
Hence I hope you get the idea.
ANd you can't answer anywhere else other than your examination center.

yes you can appear in different cities for jee mains and jee advanced. infact there were masny students during last year which appeared in different cities for these exams. keep in touch for any further doubts related to the jee main/advanced.

Yes you can appear at centres of different states for JEE mains and JEE advance. You need to select one exam centre when you apply for JEE mains. For new examination centre select the new one when you fill the application for JEE advance. This way you will be able to take JEE mains and JEE advance in different states.
