JOSAA (The Joint Seat Allocation Authority ) has been set up by Ministry of Education. Its sole purpose is to allocate seats to students in various institutes of India like NIT's , IIIT's ,GFTI's , IIT's and much more .It conducts its counselling and there are many rounds in that.

Any student who has not qualified JEE Mains , is not able to sit in JOSAA counselling . To know more about the eligibility criteria to sit in JOSAA counselling you can refer to the below link.
