As per the selection criteria for the post of any sports teacher or physical educator it is necessary to hold some knowledge in that field and this knowledge is only approved true when someone holds a certificate or document about it.

So for the post of physical educator one must hold either diploma in elementary/ physical education or a degree concerned like b.ped.

But after 10+2 you are eligible to opt for either deploma course in physical education or degree course as b.ped easily as its basic requirements for getting a seat in any college is to pass 0+2 with min.55% marks.

And, thus you are eligible to do your ug couses in physical education easily also, after this you can easily get a job as a physical educator or sports teacher in schools and colleges.
