There are no shortcuts and dont get fooled by scammers. You cannot join any merchant navy institute in India approved by DG shipping without giving entrance exam.

If you want to be a successful mariner, be it an Engineer or a Deck Officer, you have to appear for IMU CET for getting an entry into the course.

After completing the course successfully, you can join as Deck Cadet.
