Hello Deepak,

Scoring good or bad in your school does not make any major difference in your career, if you are hardworking and diligent. So, do not get disappointed at all for such a trifle.

To become a scientist, you need to be inquisitive and have a strong learning potential. Infact, a scientist is someone who tackles a problem through scientific methods, and we all do. Hence, anyone can become a scientist.

The basic approach you need to follow to become a scientist is as follows:

These are the basic steps you should follow to become a research scientist:

  1. Obtain a bachelor's degree
  2. Complete a master's degree
  3. Gain experience
  4. Pursue certifications
  5. Consider a doctorate

Some of the traits that you need to cultivate are:

  1. Communication
  2. Critical Thinking
  3. Data Analysis
  4. Strong Attention to Detail
  5. Patience

Hope this was able to help you. Feel free to ask any doubts.

Have a good day!!
