Dear Aspirant,
The National level exam conducted across this wide nation is carried out in two levels.
1. JEE Mains: JEE mains is based on the syllabus for 11th and 12th standards Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry provided by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). You can refer the link below for further info,
https://www.shiksha.com/b-tech/jee-main-exam-syllabus
2. JEE Advanced: is a bit difficult to crack since one needs to have a deeper understanding of the concepts of Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry. Although the syllabus for this exam is same as that for the JEE mains, one has to give more time to think and understand the concepts and ideas more carefully and deeply.
B.Tech/B.Arch Admissions OPEN
Even though these exams have difficulty levels set beyond that of an average 18 year old and although it is 3rd most difficult entrance exam in the world for getting into a enginnering institute, one can prepare for it from home. Though I would suggest not to take the risk.
Good Luck !!!
