Hello Aspirant,

Yes of course. For that firstly you have to choose some good collection of books.

NCERT books are really helpful so please make sure you have all these books and study books and materials also you need to arrange first.

And then you finally start reading them gradually. Start with a easy topic and day by day increase your study time and try to cover more topics.

Set a time limits and you can give small tests at home after preparing a chapter.

And finally don't forget to revise.

These are some ideas I'm sharing with you to study on your own.

Hope it helps.
All the best!

Hello Dhairya,

Yes you can crack, but the efforts you must put into it should be more.

You must devote the maximum hours possible in self study.

You'll have to follow a circular path for each and every chapter that is Study-Practice-Revise.

Follow this tip regularly.

Make a time table if you are highly determined.

Don't mug up concepts.

Hope this helps you.

All the best for your future and Exam

Hello Aspirant,

A lot of people, actually. It's quite possible to clear JEE through self study if you are dedicated, sincere and hardworking.

Physics is all about concepts and practise and a little theory. The more you understand and practice, the better you get in physics.

Some of the best books for physics, for competitive exams are:

ABC physics, SL Arora, NCERT physics, MTG books and Magazines (physics for you), DC Pandey and HC Verma. If you're done thoroughly with them go for Irodov.

Make sure to solve all their exercises diligently. Also sit for as many mock tests as possible. Analyse your weak areas and improve on them. Also practise from last yr papers.

You can also refer to a site called Sastabooks where you'll get the best possible books for physics, including those I've mentioned for competitive exams at lowest prices and offers. Use them for your practice.

You can also use YouTube videos to understand concepts. Also stay updated with the syllabus.

Hope it helps..All the best!!!

Hello Dhariya,

Yes,of course you can crack JEE by self studying.

Self-study is necessary and the coaching stuff is secondary. You will start using your full potential after you start your self-study.

If you keep the access path logical and simple then you can remember it for a longer period of time and continual revision makes those access paths more strong. If you do not revise what you have studied within a day, you forget a lot of it.

But revising the complete syllabus in this short time frame is nearly Impossible. Because you will surely get stuck on many topics where you will be just wanting to skip those. This skipping would eventually land you up on a weak base and poor results. Do not skip in jumps. If you don’t want to touch a section, just don’t. At least complete what you start. And here one-page notes will let you do that with ease. Just look yourself: because they are explained in simple and straight language.
