Dear aspirant,

As per my opinion and knowledge ncert would not be sufficient. Only for specific parts it would be sufficient like for inorganic chemistry you can just memorize it properly from ncert chemistry but for mathematics and physics it is not at all enough. So ,you need to practice previous years problems , for physics solve dc Pandey series, refer to handbooks of Allen. These are very useful for the examination point of view.

Listen, for clearing JEE Mains , NECRT is just act as foundation, NCERT is Important not  sufficient . There are not ample question for practicing so for practicing Questions you need other references .

So, I think it is not right to asking NCERT is sufficient for JEE Mains.

For scoring good marks in JEE Mains you need to practicing with other references.

Yes definitely you can crack JEE-Mains means you can get qualifying percentile but you should have very deep understanding of each of the concept mentioned in NCERT textbooks because NCERT textbooks will not have that much questions to practice so at east you should be better with understanding of concepts, however if you are seeking admission in top NITs then I would not recommend you to go with only NCERT text books because NCERTs are good for concepts but for practice you need some reference books so for your reference I am enlisting down some best books for preparation of JEE-Main 2022 :-
