The eligibility criteria for the Course states that the candidate must have passed class 12th with minimum 45-50% marks in any subject stream from a recognised board of education.

Once you fulfill the criteria you can surely study BA Major in sociology.The eligiblity criteria says that you must pass class 12 with 45 -50 percentage of marks.However the implementation of the Major study in socialogy hasn't been donw by the NEP.So based on the following criteria you can apply apart from NEP.
