Yoy can prepare by your self for IIT without attending any coaching class in 12th,but it would require an efficient time management and a lot of hardwork.
As far as the material is concerned,don't go for too many books,just one book and NCERT book for every subject is sufficient with solving previous year papers.

For Physics - HC Verma is the best book for preparation of IIT JEE, if you feel problem then there is HC Verma guide available in which you will get its solved answers.

For Maths- There are many books like of Arihant publications, RD Sharma and some other also, you can use any of them.

Organic Chemistry - MS Chauhan is the best book for the preparation of IIT JEE.
