If your NEET rank is around 5 lakh in 2025, then getting a government MBBS seat is almost impossible.

For general category students, MBBS seats in government colleges usually close before 1 lakh rank in All India Quota and before 2 lakh in state quota. Your rank of 5 lakh is much higher than that. So MBBS in a government college is not possible.

Even if the NEET paper was tough and cut off drops a little this year, it will still not go down as far as 5 lakh for MBBS.

You should apply through your state counselling and the All India counselling. Also, private colleges may offer seats in these other courses if you can afford the fees.
