Siddhant, NEET is the entrance examination for admission to MBBS,BDS, Ayush and Veterinary courses across India. And these courses are offered across Government Medical Colleges, Private Medical Colleges and Deemed/Central Universities. So in other words, NEET is for Medical Courses and not for B.Sc courses. In Maharashtra, NEET is also accepted for Physiotherapy and B.Sc Nursing but not for B.Sc Biotechnology. And admission to B.Sc Biotechnology is done at University level and so admissions are based on the guidelines of the University in question. Some Universities conduct admission based on University level entrance examinations and few Universities conduct admissions based on merit scored in the qualifying exam. But NEET is not the entrance examination for admission to B.Sc Biotechnology.
