Hello prachi,

To attain a BDS or BAMS seat in a government dental college, a candidate is required to score a minimum of 450 marks in NEET. A minimum of 50th percentile under general category for those who seek admissions in private dental colleges is a requirement. Secondly you haven't mentioned your category so its quite difficult to tell about the admission.

Under 15% all india quota, you need to score more than 480 marks in neet to get BDS seat. With 300 marks so you might not have a chance for getting the seat in government college so considering you a general candidate I  suggest you to score more than 600 for getting government seat.

hope this will help you a lot.

thank you

Hello aspirant,

Hope that you are doing well. It is difficult for you to get government seat for bds or bams with 300 marks . For getting government seat for bds in general category student need to score around 520 -540 + in state quota and 470- 490 + for bams in state quota.

Although getting government seat for bds or bams depends upon various factors like number of students appeared in the exam, category, region, state, AIQ rank, state rank, etc. Or else you can go for private seat or take seat in management quota.
