There are many colleges in each state in India that take entry on the basis of the JEE Main AIR.
These are NITs, IIITs, and other CFTIs where entry will be done by JOSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority). There will be intermediate counseling conducted by IITs and NITs on admission to all these colleges. There are many other private medium colleges where admission will be and on the basis of JEE Main positions, but counseling will be done differently.
All students who have graduated from the JEE Main exam and are AIR-trained must apply for counseling at JOSAA and other colleges.

Yes, of course you can get admission into B.Tech through JEE Mains Rank if you have qualified in the exam with good rank.
You can get admission into NITs, IIITs etc through JEE Mains Rank. Some Private Engineering Colleges gives admission into B.Tech under B Category by considering JEE Mains Rank.
