Jadavpur university does not accept JEE Main rank.

You can get admission to Jadavpur University through WEST BENGAL JOINT ENTRANCE EXAMINATION. It is a state-level exam. It is an offline OMR Based examination. There will be two papers, paper-i will consist of 75 questions on Mathematics, paper-ii will consist of 45 questions on Physics, and 45 questions on Chemistry. The exam will be for 4 hours. Assuming you an Open category student, you have to secure a rank under 400 in the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination to get admission to this college.

Jadavpur University does not accept JEE Main score for admission to Engineering courses. The admission to Under Graduate Engineering courses is based on merit in West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE). To get admission you must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects with minimum 60% aggregate marks if you belong to general category and 45% aggregate marks if you belong to reserved category. You must have passed individually both in theory & practical in each of the subjects mentioned above should have also been secured and at least 30% marks in English. So you have to appear for WBJEE in order to get admission.
