CAN I GET ADMISSION IN NIT THROUGH JEEMAINS OR I NEED TO QUALIFY JEEADVANCE . I GOT 194 MARKS IN APRILEXAM.IS IT CUMPULSARY TO WRITE ADVANCE

Yes, admission to NIT's are done through JEE mains ranking.and admission to IIT'S are done on the basis of JEE advanced rankings.

Dear Sai,

Yes, you can get admission in NIT through JEE Mains though you did not appear in JEE Advanced. 

It is not mandatory to give JEE advanced Exams. 

NITs and IIITs take admission through JEE Mains. 

Whereas IITs take admission through JEE Advanced. 

Therefore if you only wish for NIT, it is not mandatory to appear for JEE Advanced Exams.
