Hello!!!!

As you have acquired a 6 digit rank , it is not possible to get cse in pec . As pec is one of the oldest and top class college which receives a very high cut off every year. Though your percentage in 12th is good but you only need 75 percent to clear the percentage criteria . Rest is determined by your JEE mains rank which is not sufficient to get you into pec Chandigarh.

Why is this so unfair, by the way.No good college takes students based on their 12th board exam results... Why the hell do they evn conduct 12th exams... The person who concentrated on 12th class is a fool in their eyes... All this is really rediculus

Hello!!!Every year in India almost 30-40 lakh students complete their 10+2 from various streams and boards. And everyone chooses their own paths. But the no.of engineering or medical or arts colleges are not in the same number. Basic economics principle says that when demand is high and supply is less, cost increases. Applying that principle here, the cost can be related to the respective entrance exams. Entrance exams bring uniformity in the education system. There are institutions that also conduct admissions based on merit scored in highest qualification.
