As nit SURATHKAL comes under top 5 NITs every year . So with this rank you will not get the top branches but yes you might get BTech metallurgy, btech mining, BTech chemical . But don't lose hope, there are many other NITs which have a descent ranking. You can get into that with your desired branch.
