I have to tell you that you may not get any college with 48 percentile.
There are only 20k seats in nits and you rank is probably in lakhs. So assuming you are a general quota student you won't get anything.
Even it's tough for OBC. If you are from st or SC quota then there is a chance .
I would advice you to take a year drop and give it a shot again .
Study hard and you might end up surprising yourself .
I am saying so because below 100k rank there's only a difference of one mark between 1000 or 2000 ranks .
