Admission into NITs depend on the following criteira

1-The College ( opening and closing ranks vary from nit to nit),

2- Branch (also depends on the branch you prefer to join),

3- Category,

4-State Quota (In Every Nit 50% of its seats is reserved for states from the respective state)

So based on the above conditions your quiery can be answered better, if you belong to general category with your percentile the probaility of securing seat in nits is much less.

You cannot get any NITs college .To get home state NIT with help of home state quota percentile should be around 90.FOR CS/IT branch it should be above 90.
According to our expert 85 percentile marks are required to clear Jee main for general candidate.
OBC candidate have 5-7 percentile exemption.
You can get GFTIs,CFTIs .
You should go for April Jee main to fetch seat in NIT with increase percentile.
To increase percentile in a limited time period you should do model question paper with revision of concepts.
This percentile going to varies in April Jee main.
