With 370/720 in NEET 2025, your chances of getting a BDS seat in a government college depend on:

State Quota (Reserved Categories): Moderate chances in some states with lower cutoffs.

AIQ and General Category: Unlikely for a government seat.

Hello,

with a NEET score of 370/720, getting a BDS seat in top goveernment college is quiet difficult, especially in the general category. however, chances improve significantly if you belong to a reserved category(obc/sc/st) or apply through state quota in less competitive states. cutoffs vary each year, so it's advisable to check your state's previous year cut-off and participate in counselling.

HELLO,

Yes, but with some conditions

With a score of 370/720 in NEET your chances of getting a BDS seat in a government dental college depend on several key factors:

Category

  • General or UR category unlikely because government BDS cutoffs for general typically range from 430–500+ depending on the state.

  • OBC/SC/ST categories possible especially in SC/ST where cutoffs are often lower (around 300–400) in some states.

State Quota vs All India Quota

  • State Quota (85 percent): you have a better chance especially in states with lower cutoffs and if you belong to a reserved category.

  • All India Quota (15percent): less likely as competition is tougher and cutoffs are higher.

Some states like Bihar, MP, Chhattisgarh and Northeastern states may have relatively lower cutoffs in government dental colleges for reserved categories.

so yes you can get the admission if you are from a reserved category and applying through state quota in a state with lower cutoff trends.

No if you are from general category aiming for AIQ or a high demand state.

Hope this helps!

It is unlikely you will get a BDS seat in a government college with a score of 370/720 in NEET, especially for the general category. While some private colleges may consider candidates with this score, getting into a government college requires a significantly higher score.
