The admission in Thapar University is done only on the basis of JEE Mains Rank. It does not include any weightage of class 12th but you need to score more than 60% aggregate in PCM.

In 2018, the cutoff after round 3 for Outside Punjab for general category was-

Computer Engineering- 32471 (Cutoff rank) and 125 (Cutoff marks)

CSE (at Derabassi campus)- 46770 (Cutoff rank) and 109 (Cutoff marks)

ECE- 57903 (Cutoff rank) and 100 (Cutoff marks)
