The best way to predict your chances of getting a particular course in the Chennai Campus of SRM is to look at the trends of the cut offs of previous years.

The last year's cut off for Computer Science Engineering in the Chennai Campus of SRM was 10000, and the Information Technology course closed at 27000. So it may not be possible with your rank of 50217 to secure admission there.

However you can get other branches such as Civil, Electrical and Electronics, Electronics and Communication, or Aerospace.

If you wish to pursue CS or IT, you can get an admission in the Ramapuram Campus where the cut offs last year were 65000 and 70000 respectively.

You can also get an admission in CS in the Vadalapani Campus, the NCR, Ghaziabad Campus or the Sonipat Campus, where the last years cut offs were 68000, 68000 and 54000 respectively.
