The main difference between psychology and neuroscience is the object of study.

Neurology:

A career in neurology means that you would be essential in the care of diverse conditions with a wide array of treatments. Neurologists are doctors who treat the brain and an ever-growing variety of conditions affecting the central and peripheral nervous system.

Neurologists are specialists who treat diseases of the brain and spinal cord, peripheral nerves and muscles. Neurological conditions include epilepsy, stroke, multiple sclerosis (MS) and Parkinson's disease. Neurology deals with the brain and central nervous system, detailing the way they control the functioning of the body. Neuroscience delves deeper into the human mind, observing biological and chemical processes in the brain and nervous system.

Psychology:

Psychology is a vital field now because of the increasing focus on mental health and wellbeing. Psychology includes the study of conscious and unconscious phenomena, including feelings and thoughts. It is an academic discipline of immense scope, crossing the boundaries between the natural and social sciences. Psychology deals  with the cognitive, emotional, and behavioral aspects of the living organisms- in particular, humans. Psychology is the study of behavior and the mental processes which lead to behavior—thoughts, feelings and desires.

A psychologist has a future in diverse fields, including Clinical Psychology, Industrial Psychology and Organization Behavior, School Psychology, Forensic Psychology, Sports Psychology, Rehabilitation, Cognitive Neuroscience and many more.
