Dear Ajay

Yes , ofcourse you can get government Medical College in Tamil Nadu. If you have given NEET and expecting good marks then obviously you will get a government college. If you are a resident of the state then you are also eligible for 85% quota also.

But if not , you can also apply through All India Quota.

There are approx 26 government Medical Colleges in Tamil Nadu. So chances are more but you need to have good marks.

There is also ESIC medical college in Tamil Nadu , so you can also take advantage of ESIC quota if you are a ward of ESIC personnel.

According to last year cut-offs , All India Quota cutoff is much less than the State Quota cut-offs.So I would suggest you to apply through All India Quota. You can check the cutoffs of last year with the help of following website.

However , NEET answer key is released , If you could let us know your expecting marks , we can help more.

Hi
As you haven't mentioned your marks and category I would like to tell you that Tamil Nadu has the highest cutoff and last year least marks to secure a seat in government college under state quota from unreserved category was 602 marks in IRT  Perundurai medical college ,from OBC it was 588 marks ,from SC category it was 543 marks and from ST it was 522 marks all in raja muthiah medical school.Remember cutoff varies every year depending on number of students appearing in exam, difficulty level of exam, students scoring more than you and your category.
