Yes exactly you can get job, in today's scenario college doesn't matter even your skills matters a lot, there are various example in front of you which you can see and have an Idea that now big companies are not allowing people with degrees if you are having enough skills then they can take you directly if you are doing your engineering from private institution then it might be possible that companies do not visit for on campus placement but still you have option for off campus placement but for that you will have to  work on your skills, try to grasp as much as  possible, don't stuck with the syllabus try to get knowledge apart from this syllabus.
