With reference to the previous two year cutoffs , that is for the year 2018 and 2017, cutoffs for Jadavpur University for Mechanical Engineering under General category was around 650 and 700 respectively. So with a rank of 834, getting Mechanical branch in Jadavpur is not Confirmed but you do stand a chance if you wait till round four because a fluctuation of closing rank is always possible.
