The admission authority will release the cutoff for top B.Tech branches of NITs for the admission of candidates in the 31 different NITs through JEE Main. The cutoff of NITs for top B.Tech branches is the minimum marks required by the candidates to get admission in any one of the NITs across the country. The National Institute of Technology (NIT) will be offering the admission to various B.Tech programmes in their respective institute across the country. Only the eligible candidates who have secured the minimum cutoff of NITs for top B.Tech branches would be able to apply for the admission. The JEE Main cutoff rank will vary for different courses and different category. The NITs Cutoff for Top B.Tech Branches will be determined on the basis of various factors such as the number of seats available for the particular branch and previous years’ cutoff trends. As of  2019, the governing body of NIT hasn't yet announced the cut-offs.
