Dear Student,

The selection process is not so complicated. First the PRC rank candidates are alloted seats irrespective of their state. Everyone is ensured a seat. For NEE I there are 40 seats in a branch. 8states of North East plus All India quota plus PrRC rank holders. So that makes it 10. So from each group 4 students shoukd be alloted in a branch. But PRC rank gurantees a seat in ones desired branch even if the 4 seats are taken. Then comes the allotment if seats for state except Arunachal Pradesh. Their counselling takes place on another day. So chances are that you will get a seat, but it not might be the one u desire.

ALL THE BEST!!!
