  • 73.67 percentile ≈ rank around 2.5–3 lakh (approximate).

  • CAP quota does not guarantee special reservation in NITs through JOSAA.

  • Admission chances in NITs with this percentile are very low for popular branches .

  • Better chance in home state NITs under home quota but still limited.

  • Consider lower-demand branches or newer NITs .

  • Look for CSAB Special Round and state-level counselling where CAP quota may apply.

  • Check GFTIs and IIITs for possible admission.

  • Share your category and state for more precise advice.
