From the experts formula, 85 percentile will be qualifying for the JEE Advanced. There could be a chance that you could get selected in NITs. If not the best NITs, but you can get in easily into the other NITs.

According to your percentile in jee mains your general rank will be approx  87000. With this rank you will not get any top nits but you will get lower NIT Like NIT hamirpur, NIT silchar etc

If you want good NIT then go for next attempt.

you have very low chances to get into nits as your percentile is not that good for nit. My suggestion to you would be to appear for the next session of jee mains exam in april. The lists of the colleges will be declared on the basis of both the exams. So if you score good in that exam you might get a good nit.
