Hey! With 229 marks and AIR 6.8 lakh, getting admission in SMBT Medical College, Igatpuri in the third round or mop-up is highly unlikely. Last year, the closing ranks for SC and general categories in SMBT were much better than your rank. So realistically, chances are very low.

You still meet the qualifying marks for NEET, but the competition is tough. I would suggest you look at private medical colleges that accept higher ranks, or consider management quota seats if fees are not a problem. Alternatively, you can explore other medical courses like BAMS, BHMS, BDS, or BPT, which usually have lower cutoffs but are still rewarding.
