Off course, dear, you can get a good college if you are able to get very good marks in jee mains. If you work in proper direction follow syllabus do previous paper and solve other mock tests through these you can increase your chance to achieve very good marks in jee. First, understand the topic after that do practice on that topic with previous year question. You can achieve if you are fully dedicated to your dream.

It depends on your ability and performance. Since about 60%  of the syllabus in IIT JEE is from class 12th and rest from class 11th. You can do better in IIT JEE by following these steps:
Focus on basic concepts of physics,solve objective 1and objective 2 from HCV .solve all previous year question  .
chemistry is the scoring subject ,read books like singhese publication .Solve more and more questions from co-ordinate geometry, calculus and algebra from books like singhese publication (author-G Tiwani).
Solve at least thirty question of mathematics in a given time.Join timed test series.

Yes, you can get top ranks but it depends only on your preparation. If you will prepare well then yes surely you can get good rank but if you will not prepare accordingly then you will not get good rank.
