I am currently studying in DJ and like you, two years back I wanted to join the stream. Back in my time, although it was the most sought after stream , the last round cut off fell to as low as 141 !! Yes its true believe it or not and also you're more at luck if you can apply through the Gujarati minority quota . ( Well, if you are one )

Let me give you some more hopes - so after the official CAP round ends for all the other colleges, due to the college betterment option a few students might have left their seats for good, for a seat in some other college. That's when you try again as they'll have another round , so keep on checking for the dates (this will be after the open rounds ) and by now during my time, the cutoff had fallen down to 137. You can go on their official website to check the past records.

Hence, I'll say keep trying , knock on their doors .
