Jee mains according to new laws is now conducted by NTA (national Testing Agency)

There are two exams in jee main 

Jee main 1 for b.tech 

Jee main 2 for b.arch 

You can opt for either or both of them 

Now its totally upto you and your interest 

You should always go for domain that you are passionate about it will always help you in longer run 

In B.arch exams there are some additional sections that needs time and dedication 

It includes aptitude maths and drawing 

Drawing has mirror image 

2D/3D/enlargment/twisting 

Scene 

It needs extra work that can have negative effect on overall performance 

But you also increase the probabillity to get a good college either through jee mains  1 or jee mains 2

Yes you can give both jee mains in b.tech as well as b.arch. as one paper is conducted in morning session and another in the b.tech.
The merits here would be that you will be having good probability to get good college either through b.arch or b.tech.
And the demerits is you cannot concentrate on both exams at a time and this may cause poor performance in the exam due to improper planning as both are relatively have different subjects to prepare for.
So cpnsider both of them and decide it.

Yes ofcourse you can give attempt jEE mains paper 1 and jEE mains paper 2exams which were conducted on April.The application form is released on February 8 .

• If you are interested on architecture side and your drawing levels are good then go for jee mains paper 2 exam. if you get below 10000 rank then you will definitely get top nits as per previous years trends.
• If you are very much interested in jEE mains paper1 ( b.tech) to do jobs in future like software engineer, electrical engineer, civil engineer etc. then go for jEE mains paper 1 exam.
• It is totally based on your interests and dedication towards the subjects and stream where you are interested choose that once .it will makes you lead good job in future.
