There is age limit to apply for IPMAT. Even if you fulfil the basic eligibility criteria i.e. minimum 60% in class X and XII for General/NC-OBC and 55% for SC/ST/PwD category, you would need to check the age limit. If you apply next year, the age limit would be 20 years as on July 31, 2019, for Gen/NC-OBC and 22 years for SC/ST/PwD. If you meet this criterion, you may apply for the test next year. However, you would definitely be asked about the two years of gap during the selection rounds. So, you would need to prepare the best possible answer.
