can i give jee mains 2021 or 2022 if i have 12th class%age less than 50%? i have given 12th exam in jk region,can it be better for me to give jee mains 2021 than 2022 because i will get bored, depressed at home for 1 year preparation?

Hello,

There is no minimum percentage requirement to be eligible to appear for JEE Main. Candidates who have passed 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry from a recognised board in 2019, 2020 and 2021 are eligible to appear for JEE Main 2021. So if you fulfill the above eligibility criteria you can appear for JEE Main 2021 but you are not eligible to get admission in NITs/IITs/IIITs.  To get admission in IITs/NITs/IIITs candidates belonging to general category must have passed 10+2 with minimum 75% marks and for SC/ST it is 65% marks.
